5. Cookies, Tracking, and Advertising
Panko Alerts uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. When you sign in, a session cookie is set in your browser to keep you authenticated. These are strictly functional cookies required for the service to work.
We also use the following third-party services that may set cookies or use other tracking technologies in your browser:
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics so we can understand which alerts and pages are useful.
- Meta Pixel — conversion measurement for Facebook/Instagram ads we run to acquire new users.
- Google AdSense / AdMob — Google may serve display ads to free-tier visitors on the web and in our mobile apps. Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers (including the advertising ID on mobile devices) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site, the apps, and other sites on the internet. Pro subscribers do not see ads.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info/choices. On iOS, you can disable personalized advertising in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the content of your bookmarks, location preferences, or activity within Panko Alerts to target ads — ad targeting is performed by Google based on the signals listed above and the page content shown to you.
